Consistency is always key. Our effort has to be there, every single day, if we expect to succeed at the challenges we set before ourselves.
We have to take the same steps, day-in and day-out, to achieve our goals.
- Set our intention.
- Make a plan to achieve it.
- Divide into daily steps and habits.
- Implement the new steps and habits.
- Don’t let any other nonsense derail you..
- Track your progress dutifully.
- Review how far you’ve come, what is working, and what is not.
- Adjust as necessary.
- Start back at One. 😉
Following these steps will lead to results and bring us closer to success every single day!
We have to do what it takes and we have to do it every day. If we fall off the wagon, we pull ourselves up and get back on-plan. We don’t ever give up and we always keep doing better.
My son’s football coach has a little chant that the boys yell out as loud as they possibly can three times in a row at the end of every practice and game:
“Every day, in every way, we get a little better!” -Coach Gilly Quintero
We should cheer for ourselves every night with that same encouragement. 🙂
